About the role

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative Higher Level Teaching Assistant, who will share in the school's vision for success and play their part as we continue to secure outstanding results for our students. This role will provide learning support to individuals and groups of students, with a particular focus on supporting a student with multiple needs. 

About you

Successful candidates will have a good standard of education including Maths and English to GCSE grade C or 5 equivalent, prior experience working in a school environment or other educational setting, a HLTA qualification and relevant qualifications or training in special education needs support.

Previous experience as a teaching assistant, supporting children with special educational needs (SEND) and planning and leading teaching and learning activities is essential.

You must have excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills, demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and capable of remaining calm under pressure.
