Hazlemere C of E Combined School is a thriving successful school with well-motivated children. We are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to work with pupils and support members of the teaching staff to ensure that every child receives the highest possible standards of care and education. Who will maintain the positive Christian ethos and core values of the school, both inside and outside the classroom.

Salary Type: Bucks pay
Salary details: Bucks Pay Range 1B (£24223). The (FTE) Actual salary will be pro-rata to hours & weeks - estimated gross salary £17600 per annum.
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: 8.30am - 3.30pm

About the role
Core Duties:
Working within established guidelines to support the teacher in:
• Ensuring all pupils are safe and safeguarding procedures followed
• Teaching the planned curriculum and supporting learning
• Effectively using and making of resources
• Supporting learning in the classroom and leading intervention groups
• Providing supervision at break and lunchtime
• Maintaining a welcoming classroom environment, encouraging pupils to work independently
• Meeting regularly with class teacher to plan work and raise/resolve concerns.
• Closely monitor and track pupils progress in line with school procedure
• Undertake any tasks as directed by the Headteacher which fall within the limits of the post.
