Operations Administration Officer
Location: Buckinghamshire
Overview
We are looking for an Operations Administration Officer to provide full, effective administration support to our operational teams, based from the Pembroke Road Depot.
The team is currently expected to work in the office to provide support to the front line operation.

About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised individual to be part of a team who are essential to ensuring the operational services are delivered to customers and residents across the district. As a Operations Administration Officer you will work closely with team members to support a variety of workloads for both Recycling and Waste and Street Scene frontline operational services.

Key Accountabilities
These include; dealing with customer requests and complaints, raising purchase orders, filing and scanning, inputting and manipulating data, managing service email inboxes, ordering and controlling stock, documenting meeting minutes and providing general administrative support.
Fixed
As a ‘fixed’ worker, you’ll spend most of your time in the same location, which will likely be a fixed office or location where your role is performed. Typically, you’ll be based in the same location as the rest of your team, because you provide a particular service from that fixed location or need access to information there.
About you
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous administration experience
- Be enthusiastic and be able to priortise and work at a fast pace
- Commit to delivering excellent customer service
- Be experienced in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook skills to intermediate level
- Have good planning and organisational skills
- Have a very good standard of written grammar and punctuation
- Have exemplary work ethic in terms of attendance, performance and attitude.
- Be happy to work in a constantly changing environment.

About the Business Unit
Our Communities directorate works across the county to deliver a number of the key customer-facing services that our residents, businesses and visitors rely on every day.
