Fostering Customer Relationship Project Officer

Overview

We are looking for a passionate, customer focused individual to join our team as a Fostering Customer Relationship Project Officer. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide a high-quality service that enables our foster carers, internal and external customers, and stakeholders to engage with and make effective use of our fostering customer relationship services. Your efforts will be pivotal in creating operational excellence and a supportive customer relationship experience throughout the fostering journey.

This is a secondment/ Fixed Term Contract opportunity until 31 March 2026.

About the role

As a Fostering Customer Relationship Project Officer, you will play a crucial role in our Customer and Community Engagement efforts. Reporting to the Customer Relationship Programme Lead, you will assist in delivering and executing projects that enhance our customer relationships. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the ongoing development and implementation of strategies to improve customer engagement and experience, with a focus on increased satisfaction and added value outcomes.
  • Collaborating with various departments to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Analysing customer pathways, process, outcome and feedback data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Leading initiatives that positively impact relationships with our customers and community, such as the facilitation of our market leading Foster Carer Perks and Benefits package.
  • Various project support and administrative duties across a range of the programmes workstreams and deliverables.

Any-Desk:

As an ‘any-desk’ worker, you’ll need to be connected to our network to access digital folders and resources, but this can either be from home or an office location when required. You will be required to work from the office a couple of times a week, depending on your role and team requirements.

About you

We are looking for a motivated and proactive individual who is passionate about customer relationship management. An aspiring project manager, or an experienced customer support officer, the ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A keen eye for detail and a strategic mindset.
  • Experience in customer engagement and community outreach.
  • An analytic mindset with experience of data analysis and identifying opportunities for service improvement
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality results and continuous improvement.

The team are based at Walton Street offices, working a mix of 3 days home working and 2 days in the office per week, inclusive of one mandated full team office day.
