This is a fixed term/secondment opportunity for 1 year, offering a unique chance to contribute meaningfully to the work of the Buckinghamshire Safeguarding Children Partnership and Adults Safeguarding Board.

About the role

As a Partnership Administration Officer, you’ll be at the heart of our safeguarding partnerships, providing high-level business support and coordination. You’ll be a key point of contact for both the Children’s Partnership and Adults Safeguarding Board, helping ensure statutory responsibilities are met with excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating meetings, events, and task groups
  • Preparing reports, documents, and correspondence
  • Managing diaries and travel logistics
  • Handling specialist information and data
  • Monitoring financial activity and supporting project delivery

You’ll also contribute to service improvements and help drive operational efficiency across the partnership.

The role is hybrid working with a commitment of 2-3 days in the office . This role is based at our Walton Street Office, where you’ll work within a dedicated office space and supportive team environment.

About you

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative setting and takes pride in delivering high-quality work. You’ll bring:

  • Strong ICT skills, including Microsoft Office and specialist systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • A proactive mindset with strong planning and organisational skills
  • Confidence in working with data and financial information
  • The ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders

Experience in safeguarding or children’s/adults’ services is desirable. Ideally, you’ll be educated to A level/HNC standard or equivalent.
