For January 2026, we are seeking a highly qualified teacher of Economics to cover a one year period of parental leave at this 11-18 grammar school for boys, with a co-educational Sixth Form. About the role
Economics is a popular choice at A level, and you will be teaching as part of a successful team, with A level results averaging at 91% A* - B grades over the past ten years. For a suitably experienced candidate we may consider appointing at Subject Leader level.
About you
You should have QTS, and experience of teaching Economics to A level. You should also have a thorough knowledge of the requirements of the National Curriculum and examination requirements. A detailed person specification can be found in the job pack.
