The ideal candidate will be available to start from January 2026.

Salary Details: £23996 - £24950 pro-rata (depending upon experience)

About the role
The Cookery role involves supporting the delivery of food technology lessons. This role combines general teaching assistant duties with a focus on cookery, preparation, nutrition, and practical food skills.
The aim of the role is to deliver targeted lessons within small group settings. Delivering positive behaviour management and developing positive trusting relationships with both children and adults will go a long way to helping those targets being met.

About you
You will be proactive in supporting the learning of the children within school by working closely with the teaching team and being confident in offering observations and ideas.
You will have excellent behaviour management skills which can be applied in small groups.
We are seeking a candidate who is looking to progress within our school and has aspirations to grow, learn and develop into an HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) or further.
