Are you a passionate Level 3 qualified Early Years Educator, ready to inspire young minds through play, nature and discovery? Little Forest Friends - our vibrant 30 place pre-school for 2 to 4 year old children nestled in the beautiful grounds of Haddenham St Mary's CE School - is looking for a team player to support our lead teacher and Forest School practitioners from 24/11/25 on a one year fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. The vacancy is for Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 3:15pm, however, we also welcome applications from candidates seeking more part-time arrangements.
Living our ethos of "Excellence care and fun for all where every child can sparkle like a jewel", you'll help bring learning to life in our Eco Lodge and woodland setting, where children thrive through outdoor exploration, creativity and child-led discovery - all rooted in the EYFS curriculum and Forest School principles.

About the role
This is a wonderful opportunity for a motivated and reflective Level 3 Early Years Educator to become part of something special. At Little Forest Friends, our nurturing pre-school set within the picturesque grounds of Haddenham St Mary's CE School, we're not just supporting early learning - we're building foundations for life through nature, creativity and care.
You'll play a key role in the day-to-day life of our 30 place setting, supporting our Lead Teacher and Forest School Practitioners as we bring learning to life through the Forest School approach. This means plenty of time outdoors, child-led exploration, hands-on learning and imaginative play - all integrated with the EYFS curriculum.

You'll have a strong interest in supporting children's confidence and self-esteem and you will consistently uphold the highest standards of safeguarding to ensure every child feels safe, valued and supported.
