Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our school family as a Teaching Assistant supporting children with additional needs.
Your role will be pivotal in providing essential support to small groups or individual children, helping them achieve their full potential academically, socially and emotionally.
The successful candidate will be required to support in class, work with small groups or support individual children and some with special educational needs.
Term time only
Salary type: Bucks Pay
Salary Details: Range 1B Point 6 to Point 10 (depending upon experience) Salary £23,996.00 to £24,950.00 pro rata 39 weeks per annum. Hours - Monday to Thursday 8.40am to 12.00 mid-day. Friday 8.40am to 3.15pm with hour half lunch break.

About the role
You will provide support to either a small group of pupils or 1:1 under the direction of the class teacher, mainly within the classroom.
You will assist in promoting the learning and personal development of pupils enabling them to make best use of the educational opportunities available to them.
About you
The successful candidate will have:
• A good level of literacy and maths.
• A passion for working with children and helping them overcome challenges.
• Experience of supporting young people in an educational setting, ideally pupils with special educational needs would be an advantage.
• An enthusiastic commitment to the children and school.
• A positive approach with patience and understanding with good communication skills and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• A dedication to raising attainment and progress of pupils with whom you work.
• Flair, imagination, creativity, flexibility, positivity and an ability to work effectively as part of a team, to embrace and embed new strategies and approaches to support young people.
