Salary type: Bucks Pay

Salary Details: Bucks Pay Range 4 £30,361 – £32,594 pro-rata (Actual Salary: £24,146 – £26,362) 

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: Full-time,  Working Pattern: 39 weeks (term time only plus INSET days), 34.5 hours per week (Monday & Wednesday 08:30-16:30, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 08:30-15:30)

Westfield School is a primary aged special school for children who experience Communication and Interaction difficulties within the moderate learning difficulties range. We are continuing to expand so that more children can benefit from our provision and are increasing our staffing to support this.

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated HLTAs to join our fantastic primary team!

About you

We are looking for someone who will:

• Demonstrate good safeguarding practice and a commitment to fostering children's well-being and positive mental health
• Be able to build sound, professional relationships with pupils
• Be committed to working with children with SEND
• Have experience of teaching pupils with SEND and enabling progress and will be able to explain and demonstrate this
• Have a track record of successfully delivering learning opportunities to young people
• Have knowledge of Autistic Spectrum Condition and support children who display challenging behaviours related to these needs
• Have a passion for developing children's skills and learning
• Have been involved in recording, developing, analysing and planning next steps for pupil progress
• Be able to work in partnership with families, external agencies and schools
• Be committed to working within a team, promoting exciting and creative learning
