Finance Systems Development Officer

Overview
We are seeking a Finance Systems Development Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial perspective, analysis, and solutions for ongoing business projects and initiatives, as well as supporting, maintaining and enhancing the financial systems and processes.
We are looking for an individual who enjoys a fast paced environment and who has the ability to work collaboratively with the finance systems team to ensure processes are as streamlined as possible.
This is a 6 month secondment/ fixed-term contract opportunity.

About the role
As a Finance Systems Development Officer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and administration of various Finance Systems. You will provide support to develop and implement changes to systems and processes, coordinate User Acceptance testing, and recommend and implement good practice, financial controls, and procedures. You will also provide sound financial advice to internal business units.
Any-Desk:
As an ‘any-desk’ worker, you’ll need to be connected to our network to access digital folders and resources, but this can either be from home or an office location when required. You will be required to work from the office a couple of times a week, depending on your role and team requirements.
About you
The ideal candidate will have experience in finance and be able to actively pursue new opportunities identified through contact with customers. You should be able to develop innovative solutions to problems and issues, and have the ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines.

This role is office based but is currently being offered on a 20% office and 80% home working agreement. This arrangement is under continuous review and may change in line with business need.
