Holmer Green Senior School is seeking a permanent, full time LSA to join our Learning Support Department and our Speech and Language ARP. To start as soon as possible, Bucks pay range 1 - 2. It is a hugely varied and interesting role and we welcome applications from both experienced and less experienced candidates.

Salary Details: Bucks Pay Range 1 - 2: FTE £23,996 - £27,770 (depending on experience) Actual Salary £18,836 - £21,799

About the role

We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to promote teaching and learning with our Learning Support Department and our Speech & Language ARP. This is a varied, challenging and highly interesting role and we are looking for either experienced or inexperienced candidates.

About you

- Commitment to the safeguarding and well-being of all students and the ability to follow all school policy and procedures
- GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths
- Experience of working within an educational or care setting with adults or young people.
- Ability to deal with challenging behaviour
- Ability to motivate and encourage students
