People Partner Coordinator

As our People Partner Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of the Strategic People Partner Team—delivering expert HR support and guidance across a diverse range of employee relations and change initiatives. Collaboration is key: you’ll work closely with colleagues across HR & OD, championing innovative solutions like Service Now and Manager Self-Serve to drive continuous improvement.

About the role

As People Partner Coordinator, you’ll be empowered to make a difference—supporting colleagues, driving improvements, and helping to create a positive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Responding to customer queries, acting as an escalation point for non‑routine issues, and providing accurate advice on procedures, policy, legislation, systems, and methods.
  • Assessing and investigating queries and complaints, taking appropriate action and keeping required records.
  • Maintaining and improving service quality, and identifying opportunities for performance and service improvement.
  • Contributing to projects and service initiatives as part of a project team.
  • Supporting delivery of specialist work to meet operational targets and providing excellent customer service.
  • Collating, recording, and analysing information to support business processes, identifying trends and issues, and producing documents or recommendations to support decision‑making.
  • Liaising with Strategic People Partners to coordinate service delivery within a delegated area of responsibility.
  • Contributing to the development and maintenance of HR policies and processes.
  • Taking ownership of professional development, wellbeing, and resilience, recognising that role and skill requirements may change over time.
  • Undertaking other duties as required, aligned to your skills, experience, and knowledge.

Any-Desk:

As an ‘any-desk’ worker, you’ll need to be connected to our network to access digital folders and resources, but this can either be from home or an office location when required. You will be required to work from the office a couple of times a week, depending on your role and team requirements.

About you

You’ll be a proactive and organised professional, ready to make a positive impact in HR and organisational change. To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload, monitor progress, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to explain technical or specialist information clearly to non-specialists.
  • Good ICT skills, including confident use of Microsoft applications and specialist systems such as SAP and Service Now.
  • Experience of contributing to projects as part of a team.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant systems, policies, and regulations within HR or a professional service area.
  • Educated to A level / NVQ3 / HNC standard or equivalent.
