Overview
Long Crendon is a friendly, happy, vibrant school which seeks to inspire all children.
We enjoy learning outside the classroom in our extensive grounds with facilities which include Forest School, a swimming pool and sports pitches.
We are looking for a primary phase Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team.
The applicant should be willing to work across Key Stages, deliver interventions and work with children with SEND.
Job Salary BP Point 6/15 - £23,996-£27,770 pro rata depending on experience (£12.44-£14.39 per hour)
Contract Type Fixed term until the end of the Summer Term 2026 in the first instance
Hours Full-time (part time will be considered) 6.25 hours per day – Term time only

About you
An ability to build good working relationships with both pupils and parents
Good organisational skills
Maths & English GCSE (or equivalent) Grade A-C (desirable)
Willingness to work with pupils who demonstrate challenging behaviour on occasions
Able to use computer/iPad to support with admin tasks, undertake online training and enhance learning
An understanding/interest in/experience of SEND (desirable)
Patience and a sense of humour
Willing to live by and model our Values
Flexibility and creativity
Is willing to take part in the wider life of the school
Proactive at problem solving
Work well in a team, with strong collaborative and communication skills
