About the role

At St Mary and All Saints, our teachers are the heart of our community. The post holder will:

  • Fulfil the professional responsibilities of a teacher, as set out in the School Teacher’s Pay and Conditions Document (STPCD)
  • Consistently meet and model the expectations set out in the Teachers’ Standards
  • Support the distinct Christian vision and values of the school, ensuring every child can flourish
  • Fulfil duties as reasonably directed by the Headteacher
  • Take primary responsibility for the progress and attainment of all
    assigned pupils
  • Design and deliver well-structured, engaging lessons that follow the school’s
    curriculum and pedagogical plans

About you

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree level qualification
  • Evidence of successful teaching practice (or placements for ECTs)
  • Understanding of effective safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Ability to manage classroom behaviour positively and consistently
