Overview

We are seeking an empathetic, patient, enthusiastic and committed individual to join our school team as a SEN 1:1 Learning Support Assistant.

Your role will be pivotal in providing essential support to our children, helping them achieve their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.

Term time only: Yes

Salary type: Bucks Pay

Salary Details: LSA Bucks Pay Range 2 Point 11-15, MDS Bucks Range 1a Point 5

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: Full-time

About the role

To collaborate with teachers in delivering programmes of teaching and learning activities and wellbeing support for children identified as needing 1:1 support. The primary focus is to undertake educational activities with individuals, within a framework agreed with and under the overall direction and supervision of a qualified teacher.

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in education or special educational needs, including Maths and English GCSEs (or equivalent).
  • Passion for working with children and helping them overcome challenges.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
