We are looking to appoint a dedicated and skilled Specialist Teaching Assistant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to support pupils working below age-related expectations through a bespoke curriculum and sensory-based approach. The role will involve working closely with teachers to adapt learning, prepare resources and implement individual learning plans, including sensory diets, to meet pupils’ specific needs.

About the role
Purpose of job:
- To provide targeted support for pupils with additional or complex needs, applying practical experience, knowledge, and strategies in areas such as EAL, behaviour, and SEN to meet individual learning requirements.
- To plan, resource, deliver and monitor progress for pupils’ programmes within the classroom or as part of a separate strategy

Requirements for the role:
- GCSEs or equivalent
- Experience in the successfully support of pupils with needs
- Experience of being a TA
