SEN Teaching Assistant - Haddenham Community Infant School

Overview

We are looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team after Easter 2026.

Hours: 8.30am - 3.30pm, Monday - Friday, term time only. We would ideally like this to be a full time role although part time/job share will be considered.

Contract: This will initially be a fixed term contract until April 2027 with a view to extend. 

Salary: Bucks Pay Range 2, point 11-15 (depending on experience) pro rata (£13.15-£14.90 per hour)

About the role

The Teaching Assistant role is primarily focused on supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs.

The successful candidate will deliver tailored 1:1 and small group support, adapt learning resources, and help pupils access the curriculum effectively. In addition, the role includes providing general classroom support alongside the class teacher when required.

About you

We are looking for a caring, adaptable and confident individual who has experience working with children with Special Educational Needs.

The successful candidate will build strong relationships, promote positive behaviour and support pupils to develop independence and succeed in and out of the classroom.
