About the role

As our PE Coach, you will play a vital role in delivering engaging, inclusive physical education lessons across our school. You will inspire pupils to develop physical skills, teamwork, and self-esteem through a broad curriculum that aligns with our school ethos and national expectations.

Your role will include:

· Planning and leading high-quality PE lessons tailored to meet diverse needs, including pupils with EHCPs and additional challenges

· Organising tournaments, inter-school events, and after-school sports clubs to foster enthusiasm and skill development

· Providing structured, active play during lunchtimes to encourage social interaction and well-being

· Supporting pupils to take on leadership roles within sports, enhancing their confidence and personal development

· Collaborating with staff, parents, and external partners to create a coordinated and supportive environment for physical education

You will be an adaptable, motivating presence who promotes positive attitudes to health, fitness, and well-being, helping pupils build resilience and a growth mindset.

About you

We are looking for someone who:

· Is passionate about delivering inspiring and inclusive PE lessons that engage all pupils, including those with additional needs

· Has experience working with children in educational settings and understands the barriers some pupils face

· Communicates effectively and builds strong, positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families

· Is patient, calm, organised, and proactive, able to manage events and activities smoothly

· Shares our commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion, always prioritising pupil well-being

· Embraces continuous professional development and is eager to grow as a coach and educator
