We’re looking for a MASH Access Officer to join our Multi‑Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH), supporting the smooth flow of information that helps professionals make the right decisions at the right time.

This is a fixed term/secondment position until March 2027.

About the role
As a MASH Access Officer, you’ll provide high‑quality administrative and clerical support to a multi‑agency team, helping to ensure that information relating to children and families is handled accurately, promptly and sensitively.
Key aspects of the role include:
- Managing and triaging incoming enquiries and referrals
- Creating, maintaining and quality‑checking records on internal IT systems
- Liaising with professionals, partner agencies and the public
- Supporting safeguarding processes through accurate data management and information gathering
You’ll work closely with colleagues, contribute to team learning and play a trusted role within a fast‑paced safeguarding environment.
About you
You’ll be organised, reliable and confident, with a professional and compassionate approach to handling sensitive information.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience in an office or administrative role
- Is comfortable using IT systems and managing detailed data
- Communicates clearly and confidently with a wide range of people
- Works well as part of a team and takes pride in doing things right
