We are looking for Peripatetic Tutor - Double Bass to provide individual tuition in double bass to students, teaching up to and beyond Grade 8.
Term time only: Yes
Salary Details: Hourly rate: circa £44 per hour
Hours: Part-time

About the role
- Attend school during the hours agreed with the Director of Music
- Plan and prepare a course of lessons appropriate to the skill of each child
- Teach individual lessons according to the timetables
- Operate a rotating timetable
- Prepare pupils for examination by external boards, when required
- Provide or contribute oral and/or written assessments, reports and references on individual pupils
- Communicate and consult with parents of pupils on matters relating to their tuition or examination entry
- Be passionate about music teaching
- A willingness to contribute to music life at the school is essential; preparing students for concerts, assemblies and festivals as appropriate.
About you
Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience
- Music degree
- Experience teaching up to and beyond Grade 8
- Experience working with young children
- A knowledge of preparing student for grade exams and GCSE/A Level performances
- Enhanced DBS required
- Safeguarding: Strict safeguarding rules must be adhered to and training attended as required.
