About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join us as a part-time Class Teacher (0.4) , based in KS2.
You will:
- Plan and deliver well‑structured, engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and promote strong progress from Reception to Year 6.
- Use formative and summative assessment to inform planning and accelerate pupil progress, with particular attention to disadvantaged pupils and those with SEND.
- Maintain clear routines, promote positive behaviour and contribute to a safe, inclusive classroom culture rooted in our values.
- Work collegiately with colleagues, parents and external partners to support pupils' wider development and wellbeing.
- Contribute to the life of the school beyond the classroom and support our ongoing development as new leadership and teaching staff embed improvements.

- Is an exceptional classroom practitioner or a teacher with strong potential to become outstanding.
- Demonstrates secure subject and pedagogical knowledge, including phonics and appropriate approaches to teaching mathematics.
