We are currently recruiting for a Business Support Officer to join our Corporate Business Support Service. This is a full time post, supporting our Parking team.

About us
Our Corporate Business Support Service has over 300 staff delivering a wide variety of Business Support services across Buckinghamshire Council. We have been operating since April 2012 and we are looking for Individuals with the ability to demonstrate the Buckinghamshire Council’s values.
We aim to provide front line services with an efficient, value for money business process administration and project support service. We pride ourselves on being resilient and adaptable to change, whilst understanding the processes, policies and values held by the council.
We pride ourselves as highly experienced in working across a range of services provided in the council. The strength of the team is its knowledge of the key support services required to ensure a smooth running of services being provided by the different Business Units.
About the role
This post is within our busy Corporate Business Support team, who provide an administrative and transactional support service across the authority, ensuring that customer needs are met.
The post holder will:
- provide an effective and efficient administrative support service to operational teams within the Council;
- ensure all functions are carried out to a high level of accuracy;
- play an active part within a dynamic team, working flexibly to ensure continuous cover and support is provided to the operational teams.
About you
- Possesses good communication skills and accurate attention to detail.
- Able to work on, with accuracy, financial systems, completing basic finance tasks
- To have strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Educated to GCSE / NVQ3 standard or equivalent, including in English and Maths.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Be highly organised, good prioritisation skills
- The ability able to work under pressure and deal with sensitive and sometimes destressing information
