About us

At The Three Schools, we encourage our children to challenge themselves without fear of failure, to try new things and be open to a wide range of experiences: to join the band, sing in a choir, compete in sports events, build racing cars, become eco-warriors, stare at the stars with astronomers, crawl through trenches like the soldiers in WW2, perform Shakespeare on stage and embrace every opportunity that life throws at them! Learning at our infant schools is rooted in first-hand experience: when trips to the Post Office, the farm, the shops and the zoo are the stimulus for the week ahead. We get dirty at Forest School but wash our hands before baking, and we learn to work hard in all that we do.

The adventure continues at our junior school with art and music delivered by enthusiastic specialists (imagine 30 violins played at once), children running the daily mile, taking advantage of meditation club, or the opportunity to sing at the Royal Albert Hall or the O2, not to mention bridge jumping on the Devon Coast.

Happy children are successful children and we focus on creating an inspiring, nurturing learning adventure where each and every child is listened to, and understood, so that they can flourish. We support our children to embrace skills which will prepare them for lifelong learning, equipping them with resilience and self-discipline so that they have the confidence and ability to think for themselves and overcome challenges they may face.

Our School Christian Values:

The Christian character, ethos and values of our Church schools contribute to the academic achievement, personal development and well-being of all learners, regardless of their ability or background. Through the distinctively Christian character of our schools, we develop children's understanding of our Christian values; Honesty Respect Forgiveness and Love

Honesty (Hebrews 6:18) "So God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie.”

Respect (Matthew 7:12) “So in everything, do to others, what you would have them do to you.”

Forgiveness (Colossians 3:13) "Just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you must also forgive others."

Love (John 4:8, 16). “Love is both what God is and what he has done; God always acts in love.”

Kingfishers Pre-School: Kingfishers Preschool can be found in purpose-built facilities in the grounds of Mursley CE School, offering provision for children from the age of 2 until they move to their chosen school.

Mursley CE School & Drayton Parslow Village School: At our infant sites, we aim to give children an excellent start to their education and learning adventure.

Our experienced teachers deliver a knowledge-rich curriculum which is broad, balanced, progressive and creative. Our curriculum is designed to equip our children with the knowledge and skills they will need to become global citizens, addressing individual children’s needs and interests so that they are confident, well prepared and highly motivated learners.

We cater for children between four and seven years old, after which the vast majority of our pupils move on to Swanbourne CE Junior School.

Swanbourne CE School: At our Junior School, we build on the solid foundations laid at Drayton Parslow and Mursley and the knowledge-rich education we provide is broad, balanced and relevant, enabling pupils to discover their full range of talents and develop a range of skills and interests.
