These roles sit within a busy, fast-paced service that delivers essential administrative and transactional support across the organisation.
As Business Support Officers, you will play a key part in helping our frontline and operational teams deliver high-quality services to residents, clients and internal stakeholders. You will take pride in providing efficient, accurate and customer-focused support that keeps our services running smoothly.
This Business Support Officer role is to support our Grants and Adaptions Service for Housing.

About the role

Our Business Support Officers provide effective and efficient administrative support to operational teams, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and to a high standard. You will work flexibly as part of a wider team, contributing to the delivery of seamless business support across the service.
· Maintaining diaries and scheduling using electronic systems.
· Managing incoming correspondence, emails and telephone queries, ensuring timely responses.
· Arranging and attending meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes and distributing papers.
· Developing and maintaining efficient office systems.
· Gathering, collating and following up on information as required.
· Completing and processing paperwork using both manual and computerised systems.
· Supporting general office services including post distribution, stationery ordering and information circulation.
· Upholding organisational values by performing to a high standard, working collaboratively and contributing to service improvement.

About you

We are seeking a self-motivated, flexible and enthusiastic candidate who has strong interpersonal skills to support the building and maintaining of relationships both internally and externally.
Ideal candidates will possess the following skills and attributes:
· Efficient and highly organised.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
· Excellent IT skills.
· Ability to establish good working relationships.
· Ability to interact with internal colleagues including senior management and external partners to build effective relationships.
· Can deal with people at all levels confidently, sensitively and diplomatically.
· Ability to be discrete and handle confidential information appropriately.
· Ability to research and assemble information and prepare draft briefing papers / correspondence.
· Ability to collate and organise data / information efficiently.

This role is a full time 22 hour permanent position. Working pattern 1x day based in our Aylesbury Office, with 1x day based in our Wycombe Office. The remaining hours are flexible working.
