Salary Details: Range 1.6-1.10 £12.87-£13.38 dependent upon experience
Contract type: Fixed Term
Hours: Full-time/Part-time, Monday to Friday, 08:30-15:30 (we are willing to be flexible in the hours and timings for this role)

About us
Robertswood School is a welcoming school set within the leafy village of Chalfont St Peter. We are a two-form entry school, educating children from Reception through to Year 6. We are delighted to also have the benefit of a Nursery for over 3 year olds. We currently have around 400 children on roll.

About the role
The Learning Support Assistant role will involve supporting all children with their learning, under direction and guidance of class teachers. To help monitor and assess children's learning and support in targets for improvement.
- Support Robertswood Teaching Staff team in delivering high-quality learning experiences
- Assist with child development activities tailored to individual needs
- Help create a safe, welcoming and stimulating learning environment
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff as part of a dedicated team
- Support pupils' social, emotional and educational development
- Continue to maintain the high standards of behaviour and engagement throughout the school
- The post may also involve supporting an individual pupil with an Education, Health and Care Plan.

About you
We are looking for someone who:
- Ideally has experience of working with children and working in a busy environment
- Is passionate about children's learning and in every child achieving their full potential
- Has strong communication skills
- Is caring and has lots of enthusiasm and patience
- Is flexible and willing to collaborate as part of a supportive team
- Minimum requirement of GCSE English and Maths qualification (Grade 4 or above – or equivalent)
