About the role
Key features of the role:
- Provide high-quality in-class support for individuals and small groups, helping to deliver the planned curriculum and ensuring access for all pupils.
- Support early reading and phonics sessions, and contribute to Maths Fluency work in EY/KS1.
- Promote positive behaviour and our Christian values (Respect, Honesty,
- Perseverance, Fairness, Kindness, Trust) consistently, using the school's behaviour policy.
- Work with disadvantaged pupils, those with SEND (including supporting pupils with EHCPs), to reduce barriers to learning.
- Build constructive relationships with pupils, staff and parents, communicating progress and concerns promptly.
- Contribute to classroom organisation, resource preparation and a safe, stimulating learning environment.
- Take part in staff training and professional development.

About you
We are seeking individuals who have a passion for supporting the learning of the children within school by working closely with the teaching team. Of particular interest will be any experience you may have in working with children with emotional and sensory needs and an understanding or early communication needs. Our ideal candidates will be calm, patient and energetic. You may be looking to progress your career to HLTA or further.
