Providing administrative and delivery support to the Leap Team and the Leap Board to further the development of sport and physical activity in Bucks and Milton Keynes.

We are the Sport England funded Active Partnership for Buckinghamshire & Milton Keynes. A social enterprise, our role is to support, influence and improve opportunities for people living in Bucks & MK to be active through movement, physical activity, and sport.
We influence and work with a wide range of local organisations including schools, sports clubs, and charities to ensure those people not currently accessing/benefitting from physical activity can get involved.

About the role
Leap is looking for a passionate, collaborative, and dedicated individual to join the team.
Within the role, the officer will be responsible for supporting Leap’s vision and mission to remove the barriers to moving by challenging inequalities and improving lives through physical activity and sport.
The post holder will work across the Leap Team providing the administrative support so we can deliver all our programmes.
The successful candidate will be passionate about the impact movement, physical activity and sport can have on improving lives.
If you are a dedicated and enthused individual with great communication and organisational skills, and a sound knowledge of IT software and databases, we’d love to hear from you.
The role will provide the essential administration required working as the hub of the team. Working in a small friendly passionate and experienced team of currently 10 people.
Flexible working is possible, ideally working over at least four days.
Key Accountabilities
- To provide administrative support to the Leap Team including minutes and meetings administration, dissemination of information and office tasks.
- Provide administration for the Partnership Director and Leap Board
- To act as the first point of contact for the Leap team with members of the public responding to queries and requests for information.
- Provide administrative support for key Leap events and projects, including the Leap Awards and School Games.
- To ensure Leap contacts and databases are kept up to date and available for the Leap Team to use.
- To co-ordinate information to support monitoring and evaluation of Leap events and activities.
- Promote the values of Leap
Fixed
As a ‘fixed’ worker, you’ll spend most of your time in the same location, which will likely be a fixed office or location where your role is performed. Typically, you’ll be based in the same location as the rest of your team, because you provide a particular service from that fixed location or need access to information there.

The successful candidate will be passionate about the impact movement, physical activity and sport can have on improving lives. With excellent communication and administration skills.

About the Business Unit
Our Communities directorate works across the county to deliver a number of the key customer-facing services that our residents, businesses and visitors rely on every day.
