Therapeutic Foster Care

Location: Buckinghamshire County Wide

Overview

Could you provide a safe, nurturing home for a child who needs it most?

Buckinghamshire Council is looking for compassionate, resilient people who can offer a stable and loving home to children and young people with complex needs.

Therapeutic fostering provides children who may be ready to move from residential care or may not be suited to standard foster care, and would benefit from the stability of a family home, with the care, consistency and support they need to thrive.

This is not a job advert. It is an opportunity to make a lasting difference to a child’s life while receiving advanced training, ongoing dedicated support and enhanced financial allowances of up to £56,000 a year.

You may have experience in caring, education, youth work, health, social care or simply a strong commitment to supporting children and young people.

If you have the space in your heart and home to change the life of a child who needs stability, care and understanding, we would love to hear from you.
