Contract: Permanent

Hours: 34.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, term time only plus 5 INSET days, 8.00am – 3.30pm Monday – Thursday, 8.00am – 3.00pm Friday

About the role

We are seeking to appoint a Pastoral Support Assistant to assist with the work we do across the school in looking after our children, enabling them to learn in a happy and safe environment.
This role is crucial in helping us to increase capacity and support the Pastoral Team in running a smooth and efficient service to ensure all students receive the care they need to thrive.

About you

The role will require the successful candidate to work with all school stakeholders including, students, parents, staff and outside agencies. For this role, you would need to have good communication skills, an empathetic approach to dealing with situations, well organised and be able to prioritise workload. The ability to work on their own initiative, as well as part of a team is essential.

The successful candidate will be confident with the use of Microsoft Office, able to remain professional when handling confidential material, be an excellent communicator and ideally, have experience of working in a school or busy environment.
