Salary Details: R1B6-10 (£24,630 to £25,823) pro rata 
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-time, Term time only

About the role

This is a varied and rewarding role where you will have the opportunity to make a genuine difference to children's experiences at school every day.

Working closely with teachers and the wider staff team, you will:

•    Support high-quality teaching and learning within the classroom.
•    Work with individual pupils, small groups and the whole class as appropriate.
•    Help pupils to engage with their learning, develop independence and overcome barriers to success.
•    Deliver targeted interventions and additional support to help pupils make progress.
•    Support pupils with additional needs, adapting your approach to help every child access learning successfully.
•    Help to create and maintain a calm, purposeful and positive learning environment.
•    Prepare resources and support teachers with the organisation of learning activities.
•    Observe pupils' learning and provide useful feedback to teachers about their progress and next steps.
•    Support children's social, emotional and personal development, helping them to feel safe, confident and included.
•    Promote our high expectations for behaviour and model our school values and Hazlemere Behaviours.
•    Support pupils during break and lunchtime as required.
•    Contribute positively to the wider life of our school and our strong sense of community.
