Overview
Long Crendon is a friendly, happy, vibrant school which seeks to inspire all children. We enjoy learning outside the classroom in our extensive grounds with facilities which include Forest School, a swimming pool and sports pitches. We are looking for a primary phase Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team. The applicant should be willing to work across Key Stages, deliver interventions and work with children with SEND.
Salary: Bucks Pay Range Point 6/15 - £24,836-£28,742 pro rata depending on experience (£12.87- £14.90 per hour)
Contract: Fixed term or permanent opportunities available
Hours: We welcome full time and part time applications

About the role
We are looking for a primary phase Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team as soon as possible. The applicant will be willing to work across key stages, work with children with SEND and cover a class on occasions.

About you
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience of working with children with challenging behaviour and/or who have experienced trauma.
- Ideally has experience of working with previously looked after children.
- Is patient, resilient and nurturing, with the ability to build trusting relationships.
- Can work well as part of a small, supportive team.
- Understands the importance of safeguarding and confidentiality.
